On the fretboard of the violin, you will find that different note comes out when you move your finger on the fretboard. That means, the note of violin is determined by finger placement. So, there are errors when making the sound. Especially, for beginners, it is very hard to find out the right place.
Learning Violin Requires More Time of Practicing
Learning and mastering skills of classical guitar requires a certain period. And you must spend a certain time to practice every day.
And when practice classical guitar, you can find that it won’t bother your neighbor so much.
However, to practice violin takes more time. One reason is as mentioned above. The worst is that it may cause trouble for your neighbor. Because the bow of the violin naturally creates lots of sound. And it is very difficult to make a comfortable sound at the beginning.

Frankly speaking, unless you really love violin, it is better to learn classical guitar.
